Cara, Team Tadsen, Bridal Crack & Ongoing Legacy :)

Sunday, July 25, 2017 Dear Reader,  Please see this as a journal written to bring God glory and to honor my dearly-loved friend Cara Tadsen. I'm compelled to write this journal because Cara never sought the spotlight. Never. Ever. She was a very private person who radiated the love of Jesus.  What comes to my mind is the verse,  "Let another one praise you, not your own mouth." (Proverbs 27:2).  So here is my little journal -- with ongoing, dated entries --  giving glory to God for the beautiful life and legacy of Cara Cashin Tadsen. Saturday, April 15, 2017 Pray 4 Cara My beloved friend and sister in Christ, Cara Tadsen, has been hit with a storm and it's turned into a tsunami of cancer. photo copyright Kevin Trotman Cara is the type of Christ follower who is always taking care of everyone else around her. She has always been like the Proverbs 31 woman who "works vigorously with her hands" and her "lamp does not go out at night." She is loving. Te...

that girl talk on GRACE radio with Guest Jamie Williams (9.14.16)

My dear friend and sister in Christ, Jamie Williams, is in hospice care battling cancer.  Jamie is a radiant, joyful light in our community, a very generous woman of God who daily sows her personal gifts, talents, time, and (financial) treasures into our community.  She founded the very successful Five Talents Wealth Management, Inc., in Canton, GA; the same town where she lives with her husband David, and their two daughters, Faith and Kaylee. The Interview: I am replaying my delightful radio interview with Jamie (recorded 9.14.16) to honor her and hopefully encourage continued prayer for her and her family. Here's the link to our conversation: that girl talk with guest Jamie Williams 9.14.16 Jamie Williams, you are so loved by so many! "Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt His Name together!" The Frozen Chosen

Okay, so again I have been compelled to write a post about the verses that jumped out at me during my morning prayer and Bible reading.  This time it began with reading Psalm 100. I  remember as a young girl memorizing it in KJV (King James Version) during a Vacation Bible School class. The language has changed a little with my NIV Bible but it's still a beautiful psalm for giving grateful praise! PSALM 100  "Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.  Worship the LORD with gladness;  Come before Him with joyful songs.  Know that the LORD is God.  It is He who made us, and we are His, We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving  And His courts with praise;  Give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the LORD is good and His love endures forever;  His faithfulness continues through all generations." So of course, looking for encouragement and refreshment from the word of God, I always read Scripture a...
