Guess Who's Coming to Dinner in APRIL? That Girl!

Hello Dear Sisters!
Your enthusiasm is contagious! Due to the enthusiastic response to the first That Girl's Lunch in January our group almost filled our private dining room! Now I want to provide more opportunities for even more girls to gather who also have the desire to build their businesses and ministries. Beginning in April, That Girl Marketing, LLC, will be hosting a monthly That Girl's Dinner @ 6:30 p.m. at the same location as our lunch; The Frosty Frog Creamery & Cafe. Please invite your friends!
To keep this simple -- both of these gatherings will be held on same day every month --on the last Thursday of each month (unless otherwise noted as in March). The formats of the AM & the PM meetings will be identical so ladies can choose the most convenient time to attend each month. You'll be able to share your own business cards, brochures, and flyers with the ladies; enjoy a great meal at the Frosty Frog, and we'll have a brief devotional time of encouragement. Cost to attend the dinner is $15 per person, with checks payable to That Girl Marketing, LLC.

Here's the plan for March:
March 19-- 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. That Girl's Lunch
Here's the plan for April:
April 23 -- 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. That Girl's Lunch
April 23 -- 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. That Girl's Dinner

PLEASE NOTE: If you are planning to attend the lunch on February 26 @ 11:30 a.m. you'll need to RSVP to That Girl Marketing, LLC, by Monday, February 23 to polly@thatgirlmarketing.biz. SEATING IS LIMITED.

soul starving...anorexic faith

If I don't take a few brief moments to talk to God before my feet hit the floor in the morning, then I'll be starving my own soul of the strength and nourishment I'm going to need for the new day. I'll be hungry listening to my own voice, focusing on my own circumstances, and coming to my own conclusions about life. Yikes. Huge mistake. Why? God created me, saved me, unconditionally loves me and generously cares for me and I would ignore Him? "He is not served by human hands, as if He needed anything, because He himself gives all men life and breath and everything else" (Acts 17:25). BOOM! So if I chew on this truth for a while -- that all things come from Him and He controls everything -- why wouldn't I be hungry to know more of this Magnificent Savior? The Wisdom Lady

🎶  Worship Leader Grace Balint sings "Stronger"  🎶 I've met the wisdom lady.  I first met her many years ago in the book of Proverbs. God had just opened my heart to know Him so I was ready for the wisdom lady to open her heart to me! When I read her practical, rich words of life  I thought to myself. "Wow. Really? This is powerful. This is good stuff. This is so simple and wonderful...and these beautiful promises!"  Yep. Since then she's become a mentor to my soul. But not before God sent me through many painful storms and dark valleys over the years to show me it was not wise for me to try to control my little world. Hah! I admit it. Control issues cause pain. It means we're trusting in ourselves instead of trusting in God.Yikes. That's called idolatry!  But I hope I've become a teachable, willing student.
