I Just Can't Even...
This morning during my time of seeking the face of God for guidance, personal worship, grace, forgiveness and filling of my soul for the day, I came across something that made me gasp with awe and excitement. In addition to reading I listened to two well-known authors, Ann Voskamp and Liz Curtis Higgs, and heard this, "Scholars have written that the sound of our breathing is like saying the name of our God, Yahweh. They say this because the original Hebrew name for God is YHWH, and the sound of the Hebrew letters sounds like our breathing!"
W-h-a-a-a-a-t? Tears came to my eyes immediately! How beautiful is that? The God of all creation was pulling me in a little closer to affirm to me how beautifully we've been made for His glory! Psalm 139 took over my thoughts because I knew it gloriously, intimately revealed God's creating, knowing and controlling everything about each one of us! He knows all!

"For you created me in my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I'm fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when
I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
Your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in Your book
before one of them came to be."
Psalm 139:13-16
Yep. Awesome. He knows. He sees. He cares. He is with us.
So when I heard the statement that the sound of each breath we take (and He gives us each breath) is like we are saying His Name in praise -- Oh, I just can't, Girls! Can't sit still. Can't comprehend such love. Can't fathom the thought of the sound of my breathing glorifies my Beautiful Creator. I love this! Love IT.
I love thinking about this concept from the scholars (whoever they are). And it brings an actual Scripture verse to my mind: "Let everything that has breath praise the LORD" (Psalm 150:6). Love it!

I love to worship and love worship music that points me to my God. I have had this strong love of music and worship in me from birth. As a little girl I didn't know I was created to worship God, I used to worship other things. I didn't understand until after God changed my heart, called my name, and saved me by His blood on the cross. Now, because I know God I have the joy and privilege to worship freely and wholeheartedly! And I do, too! :)
And I gratefully know His Word is my life and breath...and it comes from His breath, "All Scripture is God-breathed" (2 Timothy 3:16).
Now is the time for us to gather, Girlfriends, and lift up the name of Jesus in our community! Our breath, our bodies, our lives are creations of All Mighty God and He expects us to glorify Him. How do I know? He says so: "So whatever you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31).
Songwriter/Worship Leader Alison Everill and I both believe God has providentially paired us up to bring our gifts of worship and the word of God to the table -- so to speak -- and serve women in the Canton area marketplace. Yes, that's you, Sister. Hey, and you, too, Girlfriend. We don't want to leave anyone out of our invitations!
The purpose of our lives is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Listen: "GLORY" by songwriter & worship leader Alison Everill
Will you join us at the following gatherings as we breathe in His breath of life and breathe out our praise to Him? Sounds like a couple of celebrations! It is!
MORNING GLORY
"Glorify the LORD with us; let us exalt His Name together!" Psalm 34:3.
