The Reason
We've all heard the phrase during the month of December: "Jesus is the Reason for the Season." Right? Actually, even though it may be overused and excused, that is the origin of the reason: celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ who came to earth to take away the sins of the world. Yes, it's the season to celebrate His birth and His transforming power to all who believe in Him. He destroys the devil's work. Right? That's pure Scripture right there. The "Ho Ho Ho Red Suit Santa Claus who knows all things" part of the world's seasonal celebration isn't in my Bible. I've looked for Santa there, and he's just not there. But God is. He is the Almighty Creator of the universe and owns everything it contains. God's own words literally are the Bible.
