New Season. New Platform. Same Passion.


For decades I've been passionate about encouraging women to seek the Lord so they could see and know His amazing ways. Women encouraging women can be a very powerful force for good.

Women understand each other and will often intuitively come alongside to support one another, meet for intercessory prayer, or gather to wipe tears, give hugs, laugh until they can't breathe, drink coffee, eat too much guacamole and chips, or study God's word.

That's why for many years I've been compelled to organize and lead countless Bible studies in churches and in the marketplace, been invited to be the women's ministry leader in three churches. I've been both breakout and keynote speakers in conferences. I've authored and taught my own Bible studies. I've written a trilogy of devotionals (Totally Devoted) to encourage generations of women, everywhere! It's been a driving force for me; women will be on the road to freedom if we will seek Him and dig into His word we'll discover for ourselves Who He Is. Then we encourage each other to keep on following Him! 

I believe in this season during 2019, God has directed my focus and platform to encourage women with this blog! Updated. Renewed. Restored. Refreshed. Just like me!

What continues to drive me so fiercely? The answer is recorded in the radio interview link below. It was recorded in 2015 when I was a local radio talk show host. The station owner was pleased with all my interviews of local personalities but he wanted the listeners to know me and my story. He arranged for me to be interviewed.

Since I'm sharing this recording with you in 2019, several of the circumstances in the interview are outdated. However, what has not changed is my personal story of God's mercy to save me, forgive me, and love me with His unconditional love and care. Because of what Jesus has done in my life, I've been living the supernatural life on earth that He gives all of His children.

soul starving...anorexic faith

If I don't take a few brief moments to talk to God before my feet hit the floor in the morning, then I'll be starving my own soul of the strength and nourishment I'm going to need for the new day. I'll be hungry listening to my own voice, focusing on my own circumstances, and coming to my own conclusions about life. Yikes. Huge mistake. Why? God created me, saved me, unconditionally loves me and generously cares for me and I would ignore Him? "He is not served by human hands, as if He needed anything, because He himself gives all men life and breath and everything else" (Acts 17:25). BOOM! So if I chew on this truth for a while -- that all things come from Him and He controls everything -- why wouldn't I be hungry to know more of this Magnificent Savior? The Wisdom Lady

🎶  Worship Leader Grace Balint sings "Stronger"  🎶 I've met the wisdom lady.  I first met her many years ago in the book of Proverbs. God had just opened my heart to know Him so I was ready for the wisdom lady to open her heart to me! When I read her practical, rich words of life  I thought to myself. "Wow. Really? This is powerful. This is good stuff. This is so simple and wonderful...and these beautiful promises!"  Yep. Since then she's become a mentor to my soul. But not before God sent me through many painful storms and dark valleys over the years to show me it was not wise for me to try to control my little world. Hah! I admit it. Control issues cause pain.
